About the Architect

Louis Cooke attended the Royal West of England Academy (Bristol University) School of Architecture in Bristol England. After successfully completing the Royal Institute of British Architects Examinations, worked at a number of firms in England before immigrating to Canada in 1967.

Following his work at Ronald Murphy Architect, London and Michael Torsney Architect, Hamilton, he began working at Bell Canada in the Real Estate Department in 1969. He rose to a senior position within the department responsible for design and construction of company buildings in the province of Ontario. In 1992 he left Bell Canada to open his own practice in London, Ontario, where he remains to this day.

His work has taken him internationally practicing in Canada, United States and the United Kingdom. Mr. Cooke maintains membership in both the Ontario Association of Architects (O.A.A.) and  both the Royal Institute of British Architects (R.I.B.A) and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. He is also licensed to practice in the state of Michigan.
